For 10 years I have been working as a translator for German into English. I worked for several years as an in-house translator at a renowned research organisation in Munich where I translated document types such as brochures, company policies, contracts, memorandums, presentations, press releases, reports, speeches, and websites.

I only translate from German, my second language, into my native English. I was born and raised in Canada where I earned my MA (Toronto) in German. Thereafter I moved to Germany where I lived for 14 years. In 2000 I earned my translation degree in English, German and French from the University of Mainz in Germersheim.

Recently I moved back to Canada where I have been working as a freelance translator.  During my career I have gained experience in subject areas ranging from research policy to business, human resources, marketing, medical technology and the social and natural sciences.
